2. Chris Maxwell (Fleetwood Town)

Fleetwood stole the headlines as they dumped Sheffield United out of the competition, despite being in League One’s relegation zone.

Maxwell, 25, had a commanding 90 minutes, making three saves and claimed many crosses that came into his box with little fuss.

Yet his real heroics came in the penalty shoot-out, as the former Wales U-21 international produced two strong saves from Billy Sharp and Jay McEveley to send his side into the area semi-finals.

The Cod Army will be looking to draw momentum from this win, using it to propel them out of trouble.
