Top 5: Most disappointing players of 2016-17 Premier League season

Claudio Bravo

Claudio Bravo has failed to impress at the Etihad after signing for Manchester City as a replacement for former number one, Joe Hart.

Except from the opening day of the season, the Chilean international has featured in every Premier League game under manager Pep Guardiola… until just recently.

After the former Barcelona shot stopper only managed to keep four clean sheets in 19 Premier League appearances for Man City, the ‘keeper has been replaced for the last three games by Willy Caballero – despite the Spanish boss insisting that Bravo is still one of the best shot stoppers in the world.

In these three games, however, City have conceded just once and claimed three successive wins, with their defence also appearing much more solid.

The goalkeeping position is likely to cause Guardiola a headache over the summer and big decisions will certainly have to be made about the futures of both Hart and Bravo, with Caballero also out of contract come the end of the season.
