Bolton boss Neil Lennon won’t be relishing his side’s trip to Hampshire to face the only non-league side left in the FA Cup.

Bottom of the Championship and with huge financial problems, Bolton wouldn’t have been too happy when they were drawn away to the only non-league team left in the competition.

And it is a non-league side with good backing and in good form too – Eastleigh are currently fourth in the National League, and showed their giant-killing potential when they beat League One outfit Crewe 1-0 at Gresty Road in the first round.

The club, based on the outskirts of Southampton, will be confident of advancing to the fourth round, especially with players such as James Constable, Andy Drury and Ben Strevens, who have previously starred in the Football League.

Meanwhile, Neil Lennon’s men have registered just two league victories in 25 league matches all season, and have scored just 19 goals in those fixtures.

Fans of a cup upsets will certainly be keeping a close eye on the Silverlake Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
