Top 5: Potential superstar signings of the 2017 summer transfer window

One player Manchester United will be monitoring closely is Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Whilst the 35-year-old only left the club at the end of the season, he is targeting a quicker than expected recovery after a season-ending injury that he picked up in the UEFA Europa League.

Ibrahimovic is still training at the club and has now told staff at Old Trafford that he will be fit before the end of the year.

Should he be able to prove his fitness here, there is a definite possibility that United will offer him a short-term deal.

This would be excellent news for all those at the club as the striker had a great first year in the Premier League.

He scored 28 goals in 46 appearances, and picked up 10 assists on the way.  However, should the decision makers on the red side of Manchester choose not to take him on, the former PSG player will not be short of options with several clubs across Europe and the US keen to take him on.
