Top 5: Potential superstar signings of the 2017 summer transfer window

Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo is arguably the best player in the world.

His trophy cabinet consists of a European Championship with Portugal, four Champions League trophies, three Premier League titles with Manchester United and two Spanish Championships with Real Madrid… not to mention an FA Cup, two English League Cups, two Spanish Cups and four FIFA Ballon d’Ors!

Now, after eight years at Spanish giants Real Madrid following an £80m switch from Sir Alex Ferguson’s United, the Portuguese international is considering a move away from the Bernabeu.

The 32-year-old became upset with Real because of their perceived inability to back him amid allegations of tax fraud, which has obviously sparked a wealth of interest.

Bayern Munich, Chelsea and PSG have all been reported to be interest in the forward, but the links with a return to Old Trafford have certainly been the strongest.

Those in Manchester are slightly cautious about rushing into a deal, but it is said to be Ronaldo’s preferred destination and it really would be a remarkable return if the move was to be completed.
