Ozil now has 16 assists this season

Ozil moved within four assists of Thierry Henry’s Premier League record of 20 in a season after he claimed his 16th of the campaign, and also scored his third league goal, in Arsenal’s 2-0 win against Bournemouth.

His corner was met by Gabriel to put the Gunners 1-0 up, before he extended their lead after the break after a slick one-two with Olivier Giroud allowed the Germany international to tuck the ball home.

He also boasted a 95% pass completion rate, created nine chances, made 50 passes in the opposition half and 11 completed crosses as he ran the game after the Cherries’ bright start.
