A Premier League debut to remember for the Algeria international as he scored twice in Leicester’s 3-0 home win over Burnley.

Slimani opened the scoring in stoppage time at the end of the first-half as he rose the highest to meet Christian Fuchs’ free-kick from the left wing.

The 28-year-old then doubled his tally and his side’s advantage shortly after the interval as he once again headed home after excellent work from Riyad Mahrez found Jamie Vardy, who flicked the ball up to allow the Foxes’ record signing to convert.
