Rui Patricio (Wolverhampton Wanderers)

Newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers have brought in vastly experienced goalkeeper Rui Patricio from Sporting Lisbon.

The Portugal international shot stopper, who has played every minute of his country’s campaign at this summer’s 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia so far, joins Wolves on a free transfer after terminating his own contract with the Portuguese club.

The 30-year-old agreed a four-year contract at Molineux.

Rui Patricio won the 2016 UEFA European Championships with Portugal.
