And finally, Liverpool’s capture of Naby Keita has finally been fully completed after announcing a deal had been struck to sign the RB Leipzig midfielder last August.

The 23-year-old has arrived at Anfield for a fee believed to be around £48m, and the Guinea international has been handed Steven Gerrard’s iconic No.8 shirt.

Keita spent last season with Leipzig, despite a deal being struck last summer, where he scored nine goals and set up seven further strikes in 39 games in all competitions for the Bundesliga club.

He is Reds boss Jurgen Klopp’s second signing of the summer following the arrival of fellow midfielder Fabinho from AS Monaco.
