What has been more noticeable however is that Leicester’s defence is improving. They have conceded just five goals in their last seven matches, two of which were against Chelsea and Manchester United.

Undoubtedly, their squad has depth and Ranieri, often nicknamed ‘The Tinkerman’, has shown that there is competition for places in the squad. Any signings in the January transfer window would only make the side from the King Power stadium stronger.
