Leyton Orient 3-2 Crawley Town

Leyton Orient’s League Two campaign has started off very poorly. Orient was only out of the relegation zone on goal difference prior to their home fixture against Crawley.

The hosts went into half time 3-0 up courtesy of an early strike from Sam Dalby and a brace from Paul McCallum.

Crawley fought back in the second half. However, a Teddy Mezague own goal and Enzio Boldewijn’s third league goal of the season was not enough to prevent the hosts going three points clear of the relegation zone.

The result for Crawley moved them down three places in the league table to 14th. Orient went up two places to 19th.
