And finally, Andrew Robertson’s switch to Anfield may not have broken the bank, but Liverpool’s latest addition finally solves their woes at left-back.

The 23-year-old put pen to paper on a deal worth an initial £8m, which could rise to £10m eventually, after suffering relegation from the Premier League with Hull City back in May.

Robertson’s arrival should see Reds boss Jurgen Klopp field the Scotland international at left-back, where he has been deploying midfielder James Milner, having been unconvinced with Alberto Moreno’s impact at full-back.

The former Hull star is a solid addition; comfortable in possession, has a superb delivery, wonderful left foot and is defensively sound. Could prove a bargain for £10m, or less!
