Jose Mourinho endured a terrible start to the 2015/16 season, that eventually saw him sacked in December.

The Special One. In his first stint with Chelsea in 2004, Mourinho did not lose a single league match at Stamford Bridge. This stretch of 60 games without defeat helped the side from London earn back-to-back Premier League titles, whilst simultaneously winning the FA Cup and two League Cups.

He left a hero in 2007 and went on to manage both Inter Milan and Real Madrid but, in 2013, Jose Mourinho returned to Chelsea and promised to match his previous success.

For a spell that started so well – finishing third in his first season back and winning the title in his second – just how did it go so wrong? Chelsea made their worst start to the Premier League ever this term, after losing nine out of 16 league games, and the Portuguese manager parted company with Chelsea soon after.
