Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino, is considering a shock move for Crystal Palace winger, Wilfred Zaha in order to add to his attacking ranks ahead of an arduous season, according to Daily Mail reporter, Sam Cunningham.

The North London side have been involved in a protracted saga revolving around Marseille winger, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, and the Eagles winger could well be an alternative, with the Argentine weighing up a £15m move.

The former Southampton manager has insisted that he is happy with his squad, however, in a season where he will want to compete on all fronts, including the Champions League, some more depth may still be needed.

The 23-year-old winger, who returned to Selhurst Park – initially on a loan basis – in 2015 after an unsuccessful spell at Man United, would be a big loss to the South London side, who have already seen fellow forwards, Yannik Bolasie and Dwight Gayle leave for Everton and Newcastle respectively this summer.

Despite the turbulent time experienced at Old Trafford, the former Cardiff City loanee has 81 Premier League appearances under his belt, and has been twice capped for England.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA even if this was 1% true, it still would make no sense. The only players Zaha could possibly replace are Son and Chadli and lets face it, they are both much better and score goals. Now before anyone starts complaining, look at the stats and any other supporters than palace would laugh and scoff at this.

Wilfred Zaha would be an ideal signing, much better than Georges-Kevin N’koudou as well. Zaha is a skillful, pacey player; which is exactly what we need. He would definitely replace Chadli as I think he is not getting any better and we could do with someone with a lot more to his game. Son needs more time to see if he develops further, the same way we did with Lamela (who is now one of our best players). Son has shown promising signs when playing for us and just needs to develop his game a little more to be just the player we need. Zaha would be ideal for us to bring a young lad on with a bit of pace to just change the game a bit. He would join knowing he will not be a guaranteed starter in the first 11 but that will hopefully push to him be a better player and develop into the player that he actually has the potential to be. He would be a great addition to the team and for £15 million, it would be a bargain in terms of modern day money in football.

Personally I think Zaha would be a much safer purchase than N’Koudou. Zaha knows what to expect of the BPL and Poch will be able to develop him further as player and not have to worry as much with him settling in. He is only 23 and has such good potential that he would never be able to reach whilst at Palace. I think Zaha, Calhanoglu and Pau Lopez would be some very good signings and would develop our squad a lot further than it already is. I would love to see these three addtions join and us actually push on all 4 fronts in the BPL, EFL, FA Cup and CL. Janssen and Wanyama have impressed so far and once we are settled in to the first couple of games, I think we will be a real force that all teams will worry about. The future is bright at Spurs!
