Tottenham have reportedly had an initial offer for Brazil Under-23 international starlet Malcom rejected, according to Esporte.
The Premier League side, who do not play until Tuesday when they visit lowly Swansea City in the top-flight, are understood to have a £31m offer for the Bordeaux forward turned down ahead of the opening of the January transfer window.
The 20-year-old, who has featured twice for Brazil’s Under-23 side, has scored seven goals and provided five assists in 20 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit so far this season.
Malcom, who only joined Bordeaux for an undisclosed fee back in January 2016 from Corinthians, has netted 18 times in 78 games overall for the French outfit.
The right winger is also thought to be a possible transfer target for Premier League rivals Manchester United, though the report suggests Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has made the first move ahead of the New Year market, but his opening bid of £31m has been snubbed.
