Crystal Palace have lost five successive Premier League games in a row, following Saturday’s reverse against Manchester City at Selhurst Park.

The defeat against Pep Guardiola’s City was the latest in a catalogue of negative results. Palace have also been on the wrong side of score-lines against Burnley, Liverpool, Leicester City and West Ham United,

The South London outfit are 16th in the table, a point above the relegation places, having obtained 11 points from their 12 fixtures so far.

In a worrying run of form for Alan Pardew’s beleaguered Eagles, who find themselves firmly in a fight for survival, as the South London club aim to address the troublesome situation that is unfolding.

Palace have picked up just 22 points throughout their miserable calendar year, and visit Swansea City next Saturday.
