Tottenham Hotspur have turned down the opportunity to sign AS Roma star Edin Dzeko, according to reports.
The 33-year-old has starred for the Serie A side since his move from Manchester City in 2015, scoring 87 goals in 179 matches.
But with just one-year left on his deal with the Italian side, the striker is expected to move in the summer window.
And Football Insider report that Spurs have rejected a chance to bring in the experienced goal-getter to the capital after being offered the chance to snap him up.

Mauricio Pochettino wants reinforcements after failing to make a signing in 18 months but it’s claimed the North London outfit don’t see Dzeko as a good value for money purchase.
It’s expected that Bosnia and Herzegovina’s record-scorer is to move to Inter Milan instead, but that the San Siro club would need to meet Roma’s £18million price-tag.
In his four-and-a-half years at the Etihad, Dzeko hit the back of the net 72 times and won two Premier League winners’ medals.
