Tottenham went largely under-the-radar throughout the majority of the transfer window, before rearing their heads on Deadline Day to leave Ronald Koeman and Everton spitting feathers over their move for Moussa Sissoko.

Key additions in Vincent Janssen and Victor Wanyama were sealed well before the start of the new Premier League season, whilst the protracted negotiations over their move for Marsielle’s Georges-Kevin N’Koudou were finally resolved on Wednesday.

The signing which stole all the headlines, however, was their last gasp move for Newcastle and France attacking midfielder, Moussa Sissoko, who snubbed a move, which appeared to be all but announced, to Everton in favour of a switch to the North London side.

The addition of the 27-year-old has split opinion, but how has the window as a whole gone down amongst the White Hart Lane faithful? There’s only one place to look for such an answer, Twitter, here are the best, and the worst, reactions to Pochettino’s summer work:

Spurs legend, Ledley King was more than impressed with his former club’s dealings:

The former chairman in N17 wanted to reassure fans on Deadline Day that no last minute knee jerk deals would happen under Daniel Levy:

That was, until, this happened:

However, the move for the controversial winger, along with other additions, pleased many Spurs fans:

Another fan was happy that they had landed the right St James’ Park wantaway:

Some, however, do not see the French international as the right fit at the Lane, and are fuming that the club have spent well over the odds:

It seems that the dealings by Mr. Levy & Co. have left many fans frustrated, but you can’t please everyone:

One fan stood out from the rest though, an accurate assessment and I think everyone will agree it is time to just sit back and watch the season unfold:

Deduct the £17m Newcastle owe us for Mason (cost us £0, from the youth and replaced from our accadamy and yedlin about £3m profit) means Sissoko has in reality cost £17m. Was he worth the money, we win the title then yes he was, top 4, then it will be what he does and his impact. Time will tell!

Overall a good window… Off loaded the willing but mediocre
Bought better players in every position that needed strengthening
Overall outlay versus sales means we upgraded our squad pretty cheaply.
Good options in every position, Poch’s squad now … And he will make sure they perform COYS
