Tottenham went largely under-the-radar throughout the majority of the transfer window, before rearing their heads on Deadline Day to leave Ronald Koeman and Everton spitting feathers over their move for Moussa Sissoko.
Key additions in Vincent Janssen and Victor Wanyama were sealed well before the start of the new Premier League season, whilst the protracted negotiations over their move for Marsielle’s Georges-Kevin N’Koudou were finally resolved on Wednesday.
The signing which stole all the headlines, however, was their last gasp move for Newcastle and France attacking midfielder, Moussa Sissoko, who snubbed a move, which appeared to be all but announced, to Everton in favour of a switch to the North London side.
The addition of the 27-year-old has split opinion, but how has the window as a whole gone down amongst the White Hart Lane faithful? There’s only one place to look for such an answer, Twitter, here are the best, and the worst, reactions to Pochettino’s summer work:
Spurs legend, Ledley King was more than impressed with his former club’s dealings:
Great additions to the club. Our squad is looking very strong. Pace, power, flair #Coys

The former chairman in N17 wanted to reassure fans on Deadline Day that no last minute knee jerk deals would happen under Daniel Levy:
The chairman is not the type to make last minute knee jerk deals . https://t.co/dfGtsiKGAk

That was, until, this happened:
Sissoko last minute .com … I wrote about Spurs making an enquiry on Monday (that's late to get it done) and clinched with 3 mins to spare

However, the move for the controversial winger, along with other additions, pleased many Spurs fans:

Sissoko has the power and pace to change a game & create from nothing. We've lacked that type of player #coys

Another fan was happy that they had landed the right St James’ Park wantaway:

Some, however, do not see the French international as the right fit at the Lane, and are fuming that the club have spent well over the odds:
When I wake up and find out that signing Sissoko for 30m wasn’t a dream pic.twitter.com/0BtrLFP5Pi

It seems that the dealings by Mr. Levy & Co. have left many fans frustrated, but you can’t please everyone:
@BBCSport Frustrating (Spurs)
Like every other window

Terrible transfer window from spurs. Poor signings at stupid prices. Sissoko for 30mil is nothing short of a joke.

One fan stood out from the rest though, an accurate assessment and I think everyone will agree it is time to just sit back and watch the season unfold:
Overpriced? Probably. Needed? Yes. Could’ve spent that money earlier in the window? Sure.
Thinks it’s time to get back to supporting Spurs.
