Tottenham must let go of these two players in January

Tom Carroll has only made one Premier League appearance this term for Tottenham. It’s obvious Pochettino doesn’t think he has the quality to be an important player for the Lillywhites this term.

Carroll’s position in the squad from last season has effectively been taken by Harry Winks, who has put in a number of assured performances since he broke into the side. They are very similar players, deep-lying player makers with strong passing skills.

Tottenham should seriously consider getting rid of a player who is making no real meaningful contribution to their season, and getting in one who can.
