Goals from midfield have dried up

There’s been a real lack of midfield goals from Spurs so far this season. Alli, Eriksen, Lamela, Sissoko and Son have only scored a combined nine goals between them in the 13 premier league games so far this season.

They need a new striker to replace the goals void in the team if they want to push toward the Champions League places, and challenge rivals Arsenal and Chelsea to be the top London side this season.
