Since leaving Manchester United last year, striker Javier Hernandez has gone from strength to strength.

The Mexican international was always seen as an impact player at Old Trafford, and regularly made a big impact in his first few seasons, but he made the move to German side Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 in a bid to resurrect his career.

And what a job he has done.

Hernandez netted 26 times in just 40 games for the club last season to help them to a third place finish in the Bundesliga, and the 28-year-old has added seven more this term.

United could do with more options upfront to help 35-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Hernandez has proved to be a handy goal-scorer in Germany.

Could a return be on the cards?
