August 31, 2016; Arsenal sold Germany Under-21 international Serge Gnabry to Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen for a reported £5m.

Many Gunners supporters weren’t too disappointed to see the young winger depart the Emirates Stadium on a permanent basis, as he simply hadn’t lived up to expectations at the North London outfit. But as the saying goes, ‘You don’t know what you have until it’s gone’.

Will Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger regret this decision, as it seems the former Gunner is certainly impressing his new team-mates at the German club.

The 21-year-old, who scored just one goal in his 18 first-team appearances for the Premier League outfit, stunned his own Werder Bremen colleagues by latching onto what seemed a lost cause, before rounding the goalkeeper and firing his new team ahead at Darmstadt (1-2).

Gnabry; who enjoyed a loan spell at West Brom last season, was so rapid that he shocked Ousman Manneh, who threaded through the over hit pass, before falling to the ground in dismay with his head buried in his hands.

But to his delight, Manneh soon looked up to see the blistering Gnabry snap up his through ball before rounding the onrushing Michael Esser. Shocker!

You can thank Tony Pulis for Gnabry wanting to go back to Germany . His treatment of the player was almostas if it was a deliberate attempt to screw over Wenger.
