Wenger should give these 3 Arsenal players a chance against Bayern Munich

With rumours circulating that Wenger will drop German World Cup winner Mesut Ozil from the starting eleven against Bayern, it could open the door for a return to the team for Danny Welbeck.

The England international has started just one game this term having suffered a nasty injury against Manchester City in May 2016, and went on to miss nine months before appearing as a substitute in the Gunners’ 2-1 victory over Preston in the FA Cup last month.

Since then, the 26-year-old has made four substitute appearances in the Premier League, and also started the 5-0 thrashing of Southampton in the fourth round of the FA Cup, in which he netted a brace in a man-of-the-match display.

Welbeck’s greater defensive capabilities will surely benefit Arsenal at the Allianz Arena, so the attacker could be drafted in for only a second start of the season on Wednesday.
