Jonny Evans tussles with Olivier Giroud during West Brom’s win against Arsenal.

West Brom picked up four points from a possible nine in November, and one of their stand out performers was summer signing Jonny Evans.

The Baggies started the month with a disappointing 2-0 loss against the Northern Ireland international’s former club Manchester United, but the 27-year-old put in a fine performance as Tony Pulis’ side bounced back with a 2-1 win against Arsenal at the Hawthorns.

Evans’ arguably saved the best showing until last though, as he played through the pain barrier and impressed in an unfamiliar left-back role in the 1-1 draw against West Ham at the Boleyn Ground on Sunday.

  1. William Houston says:

Jonny has played left back at international level and was the best buy ever, when one considers Stone of Everton is valued at £50 million. N.I. players, ‘members of our Band of Brothers” doing well at West Brom’s similarly challenged band of brothers in the EPL. Pity that McLean the misguided moron who played for N.I. youth teams before displaying a total lack of character by taking the traitors’ road to Eire, disrespecting our country’s glorious dead every year (and the English teams’ he plays for) while playing and living in England. Pity, his performance at West Brom shows he would have been a big success for N.I.. Good luck to West Brom, the first FA cup I saw on TV was WBA 3 Preston NE 2. Allen scored three. What a game!
