West Ham United are reportedly set to seal the signing of Ghana international forward Andre Ayew this summer, according to The Sun.

The Premier League side, who visit Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in their opening 2016/17 English top-flight fixture on August 15, have been recently linked with luring the Swansea City winger to the club’s new Olympic Stadium ahead of the new term.

The 26-year-old, who has 69 international caps for his country, scored an impressive 12 goals and provided five assists in 35 appearances in all competitions for the Swans last season.

Ayew, who arrived at the Liberty Stadium on a free transfer back in June 2015 after leaving Ligue 1 outfit Marseille, is set to earn around £75,000-a-week with the Hammers according to the report.

The Ghanaian ace was linked with a move to Slaven Bilic’s side last summer when he was available on a free, but West Ham refused to meet his wage demands.

I think it is time for Swansea City supporters to start a show of discontent over the way the transfers are handled every year. All Huw Jenkins is interested in is making money. The supporters are spending big money following the Swans. We can not let them destroy our CLUB.THEATEN TO STAY AWAY.
