West Ham recorded a third successive Premier League victory when they comfortably dispatched Swansea 4-1 at the Liberty Stadium on Boxing Day.

Goals from Andre Ayew, Winston Reid, Michail Antonio, and Andy Carroll secured another important win for Slaven Bilic’s men, who moved up to 11th as a result of their sixth league victory of the campaign.

The Hammers looked to be struggling when they were thumped 5-1 at home by Arsenal at the start of the month, yet a draw at Liverpool and then crucial home wins over Burnley and Hull eased the pressure on Bilic, and indeed moved West Ham away from the bottom three.

It means that they enter their New Year’s Eve clash against champions Leicester eight points clear of the bottom three, and now just four points behind Everton in seventh.

Confidence is certainly growing in the Hammers squad after a fine run of form, and they’ll hope that they can get closer to replicating last season’s seventh place finish in the top-flight in the second half of the season.

In what has been a pretty decent year for West Ham, we thought we’d take a look back at their 2016, and have thus selected their top THREE games of the year…
