West Ham knew that they still had a chance of reaching the Premier League’s top four before their trip to Everton in March, although found themselves 2-0 down with just a quarter of an hour to go against Roberto Martinez’s side.

Romelu Lukaku put the hosts ahead after just 13 minutes and, although Kevin Mirallas got sent off 11 minutes before half time, Aaron Lennon doubled their lead after the break.

However, Bilic’s men refused to give up and, after Lukaku missed a penalty with 20 minutes left, Michail Antonio got one back 12 minutes from time to give the visitors hope.

And they continued to knock on the door, with Diafra Sakho equalising three minutes later before Dimitri Payet completed a remarkable turnaround in the final minute.

It was a massive win for the Hammers in their bid to keep in touch with the top four.
