What’s Hot and What’s Not from Leicester’s remarkable Champions League run

HOT – Leicester 2-0 Sevilla

Without doubt one of the highlights of Leicester’s Champions League campaign was the win over La Liga title contenders Sevilla at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes had lost 2-1 in Spain in the first leg under Claudio Ranieri, who lost his job soon after, and the immediate outcry following that decision hardly set them up to overturn that deficit.

But they did just that courtesy of a sensational performance at the King Power Stadium, with goals from Wes Morgan and Marc Albrighton stunning the Spanish outfit, who saw a Steven N’Zonzi penalty saved late on as they pressed for an aggregate equaliser.

Nonetheless, Leicester held on to a fantastic victory, and one that earned them a place in the quarter-finals.
