Championship Hot: Norwich City

Norwich City moved to within two points of the play-offs by thumping Nottingham Forest 5-1 at Carrow Road on Saturday.

Goals in the opening 18 minutes from Jonny Howson (Pictured), Josh Murphy and Wes Hoolahan were followed by Alex Pritchard’s brace in the second-half to make it six games without defeat for Alex Neil’s Canaries.

The Norfolk club will be hoping to continue their current up-turn in fortunes, having previously endured an indifferent campaign upon their return to the Championship, but after a run of results that has seen them climb up to seventh in the standings.
