League Two Not: Grimsby Town

Grimsby Town manager Marcus Bignot apologised to the enraged Mariners support in the wake of the 5-0 drubbing that the Lincolnshire outfit succumbed to at Crewe.

Bignot’s beleaguered set of players endured a torrid afternoon in the North West, and had shipped four goals before the half-hour mark.

Now winless in three successive games; Grimsby are 13th in League Two, and have had to deal with the departure of top scorer Omar Bogle, who left Blundell Park in favour of a move to the Championship with Wigan Athletic on transfer deadline day.
