League Two Not: Newport County

It was another dismal display from Newport County at Rodney Parade on Saturday.

Graham Westley’s Exiles are rooted to the foot of the table, 11 points adrift, after being thrashed 4-0 by Leyton Orient.

In a fixture between the two clubs in the relegation zone, County’s survival chances were dealt a potentially fatal blow by the East Londoners.

Orient took the lead on eight minutes through Steven Alzate, before 19-year-old Josh Koroma found the back of the net three times to complete a hat-trick, which moves The O’s within five points of safety, while Newport looked destined for the conference.
