What’s Hot and What’s Not from the midweek action in the Premier League

NOT – Manchester United

It’s just not quite clicking for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United at present, with the Red Devils again having to settle for a share of the spoils at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

Mourinho’s men needed a last-gasp Zlatan Ibrahimovic penalty to secure a 1-1 draw against Everton, which in turn was their ninth home league draw of the campaign, and 12th overall this term.

It means that from their two home games in four days, United picked up just two points, and have thus seen their top four hopes severely dented as a result.

Finding that killer instinct and overall clinical edge in the final third is their chief objective between now and May, otherwise more draws and more irritating afternoons are to follow for Mourinho and his side.
