What’s Hot and What’s Not from the midweek action in the Premier League

NOT – Slaven Bilic’s West Ham

West Ham were ninth in the Premier League and 11 points clear of danger when they beat Southampton 3-1 on February 4.

Fast forward two months, and Slaven Bilic’s men are in a relegation battle following a run of five successive league defeats, and just two points from a possible 21.

The Hammers meekly went down 3-0 at Arsenal on Wednesday night to plunge them closer to the drop – they are now 15th and just five points clear of the bottom three – and they don’t look like they are going to get out of their current rut any time soon.

Their next two games are against sides in the bottom three (Swansea and Sunderland), and you sense if they don’t get at least one win from those encounters, Bilic’s men will be in serious trouble.
