What’s Hot and What’s Not from this weekend in the Premier League

NOT – Pep Guardiola

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola suffered his heaviest league defeat as a manager on Sunday when his side went down 4-0 to Everton at Goodison Park.

The Citizens missed opportunities in the first half and were deservedly punished for some hopeless defending by a rampant Everton, who have all but ended City’s faint hopes of winning the title this season.

Just when it looked like City were beginning to rediscover some form, they produce a limp defensive display and a bluntness going forward, which is only going to increase the pressure on Guardiola.

They are now ten points behind leaders Chelsea and two points adrift of fourth place Arsenal and, with neighbours Manchester United on a good run and just two points behind them, City are now battling for a top four place as opposed to the Premier League title.
