What’s Hot and What’s Not from this weekend in the Premier League

HOT – Sean Dyche and Burnley

Despite Burnley’s phenomenal home record, many still expected Premier League leaders Chelsea to go to Turf Moor and pick up all three points.

But Sean Dyche and his men got everything spot-on to secure a deserved point on Sunday afternoon.

The Clarets responded excellently to going behind to Pedro’s seventh minute goal, with Robbie Brady’s free-kick a moment of brilliance not even the in-form Thibaut Courtois could keep out.

It wasn’t just that though, Dyche’s side were tactically outstanding in everything they did.

They didn’t give the Blues much time on the ball to do their stuff, with the likes of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa not hugely involved, and they got forward quickly and efficiently to disrupt Chelsea’s organisation.

If Andre Gray had fired home a great chance late on, it could have been a memorable victory for Dyche’s men, but that shouldn’t detract from a wonderful team performance from Dyche’s men.
