What’s Hot and What’s Not from Tuesday’s Premier League action

NOT – Watford

It would have been easy to put Crystal Palace in here, given their woeful run of form, but Watford fans must be alarmed at how quickly their side are falling down the Premier League table.

A 2-0 defeat at Stoke on Tuesday night means that Walter Mazzarri’s men have lost four of their last five league matches, and haven’t won since their 3-2 victory over Everton on December 10.

It means that the Hornets have fallen from seventh in the table after beating the Toffees to 14th following last night’s defeat, just seven points above the bottom three.

Key games against Middlesbrough and Bournemouth follow after their FA Cup third round clash against Burton on Saturday, and they need to get something from those two games if they are to avoid being sucked into a relegation battle.
