With the football world in the international break, England face Bulgaria on Saturday in a crucial qualifier for next year’s Euro 2020 tournament.

The Three Lions have got off to a fantastic start in Group A winning both their opening two games against Czech Republic and Montenegro, scoring 10 goals in the process.

As Bulgaria make their way to Wembley to face Gareth Southgate’s side, we look back to when the countries last met in an international game, way back in Sofia in 2011, again in a European Championship qualifier.

Here’s what the 11 starters, who won the match 3-0 under the management of Fabio Capello, are up to now.
