Where are they now? Manchester United’s 2010 League Cup winning side

RCB: Nemanja Vidic

The Serbian defender led from the back for many years whilst playing for The Red Devils.

Vidic gave away the penalty in the final against Aston Villa for a foul on Gabriel Agbonlahor, but United’s comeback meant that his first-half mistake did not cost them the trophy.

Vidic’s 2010 League Cup win was just one of the 15 major trophies that the Serbian lifted in his eight and a half years at Old Trafford.

After leaving The Red Devils in 2014, Vidic signed for Inter Milan, before retiring 18 months later.

In recent weeks, Vidic has decided to take up a career in coaching after being spotted on a recent coaching course with fellow United legend Nicky Butt.
