Partnering the experienced Vidic was United academy graduate Jonny Evans.

In Evans’ nine years as a first-team player at Old Trafford, he made nearly 200 appearances and won 10 major trophies.

Evans departed United in August 2015, joining West Bromwich Albion for £6m.

Since arriving in the West Midlands, Evans has made 52 appearances that has seen him utilised in a new position at left-back in certain matches.
