Stathis Tavlaridis made eight appearances in his three-year stint at Highbury, and all but one of them were in the League Cup.

He signed in North London in 2001 following a four-year spell at Greek side Iraklis, but was never able to break into the first team on a regular basis.

A loan spell at Portsmouth in 2003 signalled the end of his Gunners career, and the Greek international duly left permanently in 2004 when he moved to French side Lille.

The 36-year-old is still playing 12 years after leaving Arsenal, as he currently turns out for Europa League side Panathinaikos.
