What can you say about the career of Frank Lampard!

Top of the all time goal-scorer’s list, and fourth on the all time appearance’s list, the 38-year-old is quite simply a Chelsea legend.

Six hundred and forty-eight (648) games yielded 211 goals, as well as three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, and a Champions League triumph.

He scored over 20 goals in five successive seasons from 2005, and broke Bobby Tambling’s long-standing goal-scoring record with an 88th minute winner against Aston Villa in May 2013.

One of just nine England players to play over 100 times for their country, Lampard left Chelsea in 2014 and moved to New York City FC, only to be loaned to Manchester City for the 2014/15 season.

And, unsurprisingly, the former England captain got on the scoresheet against his former club in a 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium.

Lampard left New York City a few weeks ago after being informed that his contract would not be renewed.
