At the age of 35, Gareth Barry is just as important for current side Everton as he was for City during his five-year spell at the Etihad.

The 35-year-old spent nine years at Aston Villa before making a big money move to Eastlands in 2009, and went on to appear 175 times for the club, winning the 2011 FA Cup and 2012 Premier League titles.

Barry was also an integral part of the England squad during his career, and was capped 53 times but only played in one major tournament – the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

He moved to Everton on loan in 2013, making the move permanent in 2014, and is a regular feature in Ronald Koeman’s side. During his time at Goodison Park, he overtook David James in third in the all time Premier League appearance’s chart, and currently sits on 607 appearances, two shy of Frank Lampard in second.
