Alongside Zabaleta, Vincent Kompany remains at Manchester City, but isn’t having the same influence in the team as he used to.

The Belgian international has been widely regarded as one of the best centre-backs in the world during his time at the Etihad, and helped lead the side to two Premier League title successes in 2012 and 2014.

However, injuries have always followed Kompany around, and the last few years have seen the defender struggle to shake them off, which throws his long-term future at the club into doubt.
