Joleon Lescott’s career has nosedived since he left City in 2014.

The centre-back arrived from Everton in 2009 as a England squad member and a well-regarded defender at the top level, and he improved while at City to the point whereby he made ten appearances for England in 2012.

However, Lescott was released by the club in 2014, this all after winning his second Premier League title, and he joined West Brom in that summer.

The 34-year-old did well in his one-year stay at the Hawthorns before moving to Aston Villa, where things didn’t go well for the defender.

He has since seen his contract at AEK Athens terminated as well.
