The Northern Ireland international elected to stay on at Rangers, signing a contract extension after liquidation, however after a season in the fourth tier a fractured jaw sustained early in the 2013/14 campaign ruled him out for the rest of the season.

Little was eventually released and joined Preston North End, however further small injuries held his career back and, after an unsuccessful loan spell with Accrington Stanley, he was released at the end of last season.
