Name: Danny Rose
At the club since: 2007
Tottenham Hotspur showed they are well in the Premier League title race with a 4-0 thrashing of Stoke City on Monday night, and no Spurs player would be delighted to win England’s top division than left-back Danny Rose, the club’s longest-serving player.
Despite coming through the youth system at Leeds United, the full-back was sold to Tottenham for around £1million in July 2007 when the Whites found themselves in financial trouble, but didn’t really make an impact on the first team until the 2011-12 campaign.
Less than two years ago, Rose signed a new five-year deal at White Hart Lane, and despite the arrival of Ben Davies from Swansea, he has gone on to make the spot his own over the course of the last couple of seasons, and made his debut for his country in the incredible win in Germany last month.
