Cesc Fabregas is in the midst of a transfer storm amid recent speculation over his future.

West Ham are rumoured to be strongly interested in signing the 29-year-old on loan this January to add that extra bit of magic to their team for the Premier League run-in.

Fabregas has fallen out of favour at Chelsea this season, falling victim to new manager Antonio Conte’s switch in formation to a 3-4-3. With new signing N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic holding down the two central midfield spots with a series of powerful displays Fabregas’ appearances have been limited. The Spaniard has only appeared in four of the 12 Premier League games so far this season.

Fabregas, who helped himself to a remarkable 18 assists in Chelsea’s title wining 2014-15 season would provide the creativity this West Ham team are screaming out for. Other than Payet, who is one of the top chance creators in Europe’s top 5 leagues yet again this season, West Ham have pretty much no one contributing consistently in the final third. This shows as they’ve only scored a measly 14 goals in 13 Premier League games.

With Fabregas’ long-term future very much up in the air, here are THREE reasons why he should snub West Ham and stick with Chelsea this January…
