Atletico Madrid (1995-2007)

Torres began his career at Atletico all the way back in 1995 as an 11-year-old, before working his way up to the first team ready for his debut in 2001.

The striker helped the club win promotion to La Liga in 2002 and then became an even greater part of the side that established themselves in the Spanish top-flight, going on to net 91 times in 244 games for the club before leaving for Liverpool in 2007.
