3 England stars that need to secure a move in January

Everton’s Ross Barkley hasn’t made an England squad since the European Championships in the summer, with his form for the Toffees simply not good enough to earn a recall.

The 23-year-old has been criticised by many, including his manager Ronald Koeman, for not doing enough when he’s on the pitch, and this has subsequently seen him dropped from a few games this season.

A return of two goals and two assists in 16 games isn’t enough from a player of his quality, so he may need a fresh start in January to reach his undoubted potential.

Tottenham have been linked with a move for the young midfielder and, based on how well Mauricio Pochettino has got the likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane, and Danny Rose playing, Barkley should seriously consider his future at Goodison Park.
