3 reasons why Manchester City can still catch Premier League leaders Chelsea

Goals everywhere

The biggest concern many people have with Manchester City is that they don’t get the necessary goals when they’re on top.

They dominated Tottenham in the first half back on January 21, but didn’t get their rewards until Hugo Lloris made two unusual errors, and the same can be said of the Swansea game at the weekend, where they got the early goal but weren’t ruthless enough to finish the game off.

However, with the attacking players they’ve got in the system they’re playing, it’s just a matter of time before the goals start flowing, even if Sergio Aguero isn’t in the team.

Jesus had made a fine start and will only get better the more he gets used to English football, while Sane is beginning to shine after his big-money move last summer.

The dismantling of West Ham last week is a sign of things to come, and if they can do that on a more regular basis, then they’ll keep the pressure on Chelsea from now until May.
